Homelessness in NYC has skyrocketed to record numbers, unmatched since the Great Depression in the 1930's.
Nobody deserves to be hungry. Everyone should have a home. Unfortunately, if we can't provide homes for everyone, we can at least help to make sure they don't feel hungry in this country of plenty.
